Is JioCoin simply a non-value rewards system?

According to many crypto data trackers, the current USD price of JioCoin is $0 (zero), and there is no trading volume, which means there is almost no liquidity or exchange activity. So, does that mean it's a market gimmick? Is it on unregulated exchanges, or is it simply another in-app rewards system with no real market value?
