How can I ensure that my money is safe with alternative apps?

I'm pretty much done with Binance P2P, but I don't want to jump out of the frying pan into the fire. Before I switch, I really need to check if these other apps are legitimate regarding their KYC procedures and if I'll actually be able to get my money out when I need it.
