Market Performance on 22nd January

The Nifty Index gained 0.57% on 22nd January, and it closed at 23,155.3. But still some mid and small caps are not performing well; the Nifty Midcap 150 and Nifty Smallcap 250 declined by 1.25% and 1.6%, respectively. The 10-year bond yield remained the same at 6.75%, and the rupee became strong against the dollar. The rupee closed at 86.38 against the US dollar.
