Need an advice on Mutual Funds.

With my current job profile I can comfortably invest around 4- 6k every month. I am new to investing and starting an SIP with this amount. My investment horizon is rather short, thus I'm willing to accept a moderate amount of risk.
Could you suggest me some SIP options according to my needs, with the proper history of consistent returns for this short period? I'm also open to exploring other investment options that might be a better fit.

For short-term investment you can consider some SIP options:
-
Debit Funds: provides stability and good for short-term investment.
-
RD: it gives you fixed returns. It is assigned for a period of 6 months -10 years .It is regulated by RBI which makes it a safe option for investment.
-
FD: This is an investment scheme offered by Indian Banks to their customers, which makes it a safe option for investment. And it gives you guaranteed returns.
-
Balance Funds: It's a type of mutual fund that owns both stocks and bonds. You can diversify and rebalance your portfolio facility. It’s cheaper than others and a good choice for short-term investment.

Thanks for the suggestion. I know FDs are a safe option but offer low returns. And the average inflation rate is higher than that of FDs. So is it still a good option to invest in FDs, or are there other plans with better returns and inflation protection?
