Not able to link my bank to Gpay.

I am using mostly Gpay for online transactions. UCO bank is already linked with my Gpay. Now I want to add another bank account to it. I have an account with Punjab National Bank. I updated my contact details with my PNB bank. So that I can link this bank with Gpay
But every time I add another bank and select the Punjab National Bank, I receive this message: “Could Not Find Account.”
So tell me why I am not able to connect my bank account to Gpay. What could be the possible reasons? Is my number not updated by the bank, or is there any other issue? -

Contact your bank or visit the bank. Check the status of your account, like whether your contact number is updated or KYC is done. May be your account is frozen. And tell them to unfreeze the account. Just do some transactions (deposit some cash), and your account will be operational again. Then try to link your bank account to GPay.
