First, always confirm the recipient number with name before any transaction or start your payment with 1 rupee to check the right account. If by mistake you send the money to the wrong account, then follow these steps to get your money back:

Try to contact the recipient and request to send the money back. Use the Request Money feature of Google Pay to get the money back. Note all the details and history of the transaction and contact your bank or call your bank customer services. If the bank does not provide you with any support then complaint a file with NPCI at https://www.npci.org.in and go to UPI Dispute Redressal Mechanism. If you suspect fraud then file a complaint at https://cybercrime.gov.in/.

Is there any other app that provides excellent cashback offers? I am using GPay, and I am not getting any beneficial offers on it.

This could be a temporary issue with your bank or a security block. Just make sure you have enough balance. Update your app. If the issue persists, reach out to your bank and verify if they have blocked your UPI transactions.

This is a technology issue with Amazon and Gpay. As you said, you spoke with Amazon and Gpay, but their responses were unsatisfactory. File a complaint on the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) website ([email protected]) or call on their toll-free number 1800-11-4000 or 1915.

Contact your bank or visit the bank. Check the status of your account, like whether your contact number is updated or KYC is done. May be your account is frozen. And tell them to unfreeze the account. Just do some transactions (deposit some cash), and your account will be operational again. Then try to link your bank account to GPay.

If the money was debited from your account, and the contact number on which you transferred the money, which is not linked to their bank account, that means money is send to the wrong account.

Tell your sister to contact to Phonepe customer service term and share your issue. They can easily track the transaction. They can initiate the refund process. Also contact your bank and inform them about the refund and let them know it was an unauthorized action.

Bank of Baroda and Axis Bank offer Rupay credit cards, but linking them to UPI isn't currently supported. Just check with your bank directly to see if there are any planned updates for UPI compatibility.

By submitting new KYC documents reflecting your genuine identity, you can simply change your name on Paytm account. While doing all this just make sure , your actual name shows on all the documentation.
