I need a personal loan because of a medical emergency in my family, so what factors should i give top priority while selecting a bank, and what kind of interest rate i should expect from the bank? How can fixed vs. fluctuating interest rates affect the EMI?

The tax benefits that NPS offers are amazing, but I am more concerned about the lock-in period. Also, we pay taxes on the pension plans that we receive.
So I am confused: should I invest in NPS or not? Or is there any better option to invest my money that gives me tax benefits for a shorter lock-in period ?

My FD has matured recently, and I received 10L from my FD. And I want to invest this amount somewhere other than in a bank. Could you advise me on where I should invest my money?
